I remember when gas was 18 cents a gallon, and bacon was cheep.  :  )  (something for Randy D this evening)

Sure, I could exercise discretion and let you go with just a warning, but I doubt you’d respect me in the morning. NOT today, Lady!  Please come along with me; you’re being detained for suspicion of intentionally baiting a grammar police officer.

Quick, I must loosen her collar! Stand back, everyone; I’m about to administer mouth-to-mouth!

I don't remember because  I've never bought it because I've never really liked it. :)

There are two types of people in the world: those who like bacon, and those who are wrong.

You’re off of my Christmas list, our bro-road trip is canceled, I won’t be your wingman to find guys for you any more, and first thing Monday morning, I will file the paperwork to have you banished from these United States. Grrrrrrr.

Ah, well - - I don't fit in again and told I'm wrong. I don't particularly like bacon, but the world loves it and adds it to everything.

Though I know all is in jest here but, truthfully, I've been told I'm wrong for most of my life - - weather --

I've said it a lot on the site here and no one cares but I'm effin tired of it -- been told my entire life that my favorite weather is BAD GLOOMY DISMAL DEPRESSING. My favorite kind of weather --overcast. cloudy, cool, rainy weather is shi**y weather. I am bucked up,
And the oppressively glaring sun, blue sky weather is LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL. The world declares the beauty of sunny blue sky weather all the time. Since I was young boy, yes, I'd go outside and play or walk if I saw it was raining. I knew in third grade I'd be happy living in Seattle, Washington because my teacher said it rained there a lot.

I've felt more "wrong" about who I am about weather than being gay. No problem being gay - and buck that assumption that some have that it is a choice. It is not. I just began having feelings for male peers.
Yet, I've felt something deeply wrong with me because I prefer and love cloudy weather.

Now, back to listening to my favorite R.E.M. album "Around the Sun" - -by very far my favorite R.E.M. album -  and it's the the album considered by critics and fans as their worst. (Yup, true.)

Eating bacon should solve those problems.

You're very right, Welbz, and I wish I could add this as a monologue to what I'm doing (you know)... Think you could fly to Tokyo and repeat it? One of my most cherished memories involves walking the dog in the rain. And I hear the city of Mostar (in Herzegovina) is particularly beautiful when the lights shine off the wet cobblestone.

As for bacon, I haven't had any in 10 years but I'll smell it from a mile away.

Hey Danilo_G, I'd love to repeat it all in Tokyo. :)  I'm really happy you would consider my words a monologue. Go ahead. They're certainly deep down and truthful to my core. Since posting this the other night, I've thought of little else but these words I wrote here. It felt good for me to lay down so clearly the thoughts I've had since being six years old. Presently where I live we're in the midst of five days in a row of sunny, clear, warm weather and everyone is practically climaxing. Except me.

Your sharing about walking the dog gave me literal chills -- yes, you very much get from where I'm coming. Thanks!
And I'd love to see Mostar under those conditions.
    Thanks again.  :)

Woke up in the middle of the night  -- the uncomfortable-to-me warmer night temperatures tonight woke me up. Clicked in on the site for bit here again under my answer. Thanks again for sharing, Danilo_G.  :)

Wet clothing really bothers me, so rain is not my preference, but I know what you mean.

Personal preferences are just that and it sucks that people demean others they don't agree with when it comes to such things.

P.S. - Can you believe some people still eat bacon? Gross, right?

    ;)

I am glad you said all that! You're brave! Good job!
