    That's a myth.  People use 100% of their brains.  It only seems like a lot of people only use micro portion of their brain (texting drivers, politicians).

    If that's what that book says, then it's wrong.  

    Now all 100% of it isn't necessarily being used at any 1 time, but it still all gets used. 
    Brain scans have shown that all parts of the brain get used.  Certain areas are used for different tasks (reading, learning, dreaming, etc.).
