Are you going to do anything special for my offical retirerment on June 1st?

Like maybe eat a peanut butter sandwich (I have been eating those for lunch for 30 years). I was supposed to retire last year but I did a few grounds keeping clients this spring because they couldn't find replacements for me. Anyway this will be my last weekend of being a working man. Cheers and happy weekend!

Thanks but I might not get as much leisure time as I would like. Pretty sure my wife will start making my chore list a bit longer because I will have more free time. Cheers and happy weekend!

That may be true, but if you don't do a chore the moment she wants it, she isn't likely to fire you. :)

Thanks. If you ever need a good excuse for getting out of work I will share some whoppers I made up in the past 30 years. Cheers and happy week end!

I'm definitely going to eat a peanut butter sandwich in honor of your retirement. Congratulations  :)

Thanks. I think what I will miss most about not working is giving my dog the crusts from my peanut butter work sandwiches. I would sometimes make a real big deal about a little crust of bread and say things like - hey this one has some jam on it. Cheers and happy weekend! Thanks. The only problem I can see about spending more time here is getting fat (I munch when I am on the Internet).  Cheers and happy weekend!

Since I can't get fired anymore I thought I would post about how I used to make a bit of easy money while I was working. I retain water overnight so I didn't need a belt in the morning. I would bring my belt to work and after a couple hours my pants would start sagging. So I would stop working - go over to my bag and put my belt on. With a bit of dilly-dallying it took about 15 minuets each day. Once I figured out how much that made me each year and it was a surprizing amount. Cheers and happy weekend!

I see. You know, one of the first things that happens when you retire is you start answering your own questions. Down hill from there.

No way I am going to buy all of DR-Ho's massage systems which will keep my mind sharp and my body fit. Cheers and happy weekend!

It will be all I hoped for except for the part about being retired by 40 (when I was in my 20s I figured I would retire by the time I was 40). Cheers and happy weekend!

Happy retirement!  Since I’m not going to do anything other than wish you a happy retirement, I’ll get myself a rubber biscuit for doing nothing.
