What did you learn today?

While having a 15 minuet breathing treatment I discovered it take 5 seconds to breathe in and breathe out, therefore in 15 minutes you take 180 breaths.

"Fun
with Flags" is our next question subject for the day.  (refer to "The Big Bang Theory" for ideas.   lol

In your opinion. However, and not that you are owed any explanation, I was replying not to the question, but to Spunky's comment AS I SAW FIT. When you reply, you are entitled to do so AS YOU SEE FIT without owing anyone explanation. That, my friend, is how this whole thing works.

Just as you often “see fit” to disparage people for posting questions that you deem unworthy of being posted, or replies that failed to meet with your approval. So that now you get a taste of your own medicine, it doesn’t seem to sit very well with you. She did not post her answer to the question as if she sought advice from anyone or sought a solution to a problem, she simply answered it at 100% face value, stating something that she had recently learned. You, however, “saw fit” to stick the ol’ bazoo where it wasn’t requested; neither in the original question nor in her answer.  I called you on it, and now you’re all butt-hurt. Perhaps you can reflect upon the numerous times you’ve called others on things they’ve posted, tearing them down because you found the topic boring, or unimaginative, or passé, etc. Leaves a bad taste in the pie-hole, right? Maybe you’ll leave people alone when they fail to measure up to asking or answering or commenting with the captivating approaches that meet your standards.

Of course, you share my neurotic need to have the last word, so on this thread I’ll grant you that pleasure, but be informed that no matter what self-serving drivel you concoct, I won’t be joining your “I-love-me” party on this thread any longer. I’ll see you the next time you need to be put back into your place.

Who knew that my one line comment would cause such a kerfuffle?

But you, not I, are the one doing the disparaging here.

But, Stu... you are aware of how particular and mean you are sometimes, right?

Yes, Randy definitely has taken a 'tone' with you, and it's somewhat of a pot/kettle situation, with regard to the grammar policing. I get that. However, you seem to apply your own particular standards to others' writing pretty stringently. I understand it's a passion for you, but I think you could take a bit more care when dealing with others.

I'll have to go to a supermarket.  I suspect it may have something to do with the recall of Jif peanut butter.  Not buying it from Amazon. :)

There's no "sticking" to Vegemite - I've never eaten it and I don't even know if they sell it in the states.

15 minuets is a long time. Did you breathe in time to the music?

I was having a breathing treatment in emergency, sooooo, to pass the time I counted it.  Pun intended.

That was the length of the breathing treatment I had in emergency, yesterday.  Another trip to emergency today only produced a 5 minute breathing treatment however it was very effective.

Today I thought of a reasonable offer.....$0.00.  I find this much easier to live with.
Any exit plan someone else might have, would be the same 0.  This I will sign, gladly and quickly.

I learned that Skippy peanut butter can be bought in many supermarkets and on Amazon. This changes everything!

I learned that some of the protective shields that now separate customer from cashier in most every store REALLY make it hard to hear the cashier. Especially with loud background music and conversations happening amongst employees. Not good.
