How do you feel about sandwiches made with the heel (crust end) of the loaf?

I've discovered that the best use for the heel is a grilled cheese sandwich. Just put that crusty side of the heel on the inside and it's basically not noticeable at all. 

That guy sounds fantastic, though. Do you have his number? 

 

  I eat sandwiches made with them, I enjoy them equally as I do the other slices of the loaf. That woman sounds fantastic, I have a home-based sandwich shop downstairs here, she seems like a perfect fit, and she probably needs some consoling right about now anyway; do you have her number?

I enjoy all aspects of a loaf of bread. Every once in a while heeling it offers a bit of taste/consistency variety to me.  :)

The heels cover the rest of the loaf to protect it. When we are finished, the bird get the heels.

I really don't like them as part of a sandwich.  They're better as toast or croutons.  

I don't like it but I guess things happen that way.

Your phrasing suggests it's about a sandwich someone else made for me. I have never raised the slightest of complaints with people bringing me food. 

Now, if I'm buying the bread, it's possible one heel won't make it home.

I use the heels for sandwiches.  I find they're also good for making toast - they soak up the butter better.

Boy, I'll bet that wife wishes she had known that it was that easy to get out of the marriage, she would have made his sandwiches like that a long time ago.
