Do you have any uncommon skills or talents that have little practical use?

If you can imagine all the what if scenarios, then you can be prepared for them. I'd say that's a practical use.

Practical or otherwise, they're not uncommon, which was the main point of the question. 

 

 If for just once in your life instead of keeping me out, you’d let me in to spend a few nights with you, you’d learn firsthand just how uncommonly good my abilities are. Grrrrrrr.

Can you elaborate? 

Sure.  I once copiloted a fighter jet up to about 68,000 ft... the pilot did all manner of nasty things to me up there!

I never met anyone who can do that. Cool!

Its still useful if you find poop on your porch to know whether its a bear or a dog that left it's calling card.

It would be but I wouldn't poke it with a stick so I could track the animal down. Once a neighbour accused my dog of pooping in his yard so I told him I was a hunter and  I could figure out what animal did the poop by examining the scat. He said ummmmmm OK and we went over to his yard. After pretending to study the poop for awhile I said - nope that's not Blue Healer poop and he said how can you tell and I said because there is no corn in it. Cheers and happy weekend!
