    Depends on location.

But over all, we are not overpopulated. This post was edited by my2cents at December 26, 2022 6:35 PM MST

    Thanos is creepy to me.
Jolly Green Giant gone bad or something. (And brown is even my favorite color.)

Mother Earth could sustain many more children... Just not this many who disregard her.

Edit: Sadly, those who inflict the most damage might be the last to feel it. This post was edited by Danilo_G at December 26, 2022 6:04 PM MST

earth is not overpopulated. poverty and suffering exist because of wealth and resource disparities and corruption, not because of "overpopulation"

8 billion people is considered by climate scientists to be overpopulated.
We consume more resources than the Earth can replenish and still retain a balanced atmosphere and ecosystems.
We would need to reduce our total to about 5 million in order to maintain the balance in this current round of evolution.
We also need to switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy from sun, wind and hydro.
There are lots of other solutions we need to get into as quickly as possible.
It will take everyone's efforts around the globe to make a sufficient difference to survive.

None of that is likely to happen before it is too late.

Over. The most environmentally friendly thing to do with your plastic bags is use them to suffocate your children ...
