Do you subscribe to any streaming networks?

Nope, I’m way too cheap for that stuff. I’ve never even had any of the premium cable channels, such as HBO or Cinemax or Showtime, etc., so streaming services are completely out of the question for me.

Great graphic accompanying your post, by the way!

Thanks...it's reality. The only reason I have prime streaming is I have Amazon prime for shopping and it comes with the package. i get to watch Thursday night football.

Nope, no streaming. Never have. Not only am I too cheap, but I watch very little (if any) fictional programming. I'm very fond of documentaries, PBS, true crime, Turner Classics and a lot of history and science.

That's not enough to add another expense. My cable has two National Geographic channels.

Yes -  Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video.  I also watch several free streaming stations (eg. Pluto, FreeVee).

    Amazon Prime
    HBO Max
    We use my son's Disney+

I usually only use it when I know exactly what I want to watch. I hate searching forever....

In my house we have Netflix and Hulu.  We’re not going to subscribe to more than two streaming services.

Disney and Stan. I did consider subscribing to Paramount, but my TV is a relic from the Analog Age, and my XBox console (required to decode the signals) can't read that one.

Do you ever play games on that Xbox? Pretty neat that it's so versatile. I remember when it was "wow, my PlayStation can play Fatboy Slim!"

I don't but I am thinking of signing up for the W network because my sister in law is in one of the series on that network.  The last time I saw her she was a teen living  in Windsor. But in the series she is a young lady working on the floor of the Toronto stock exchange. So it will probably be interesting. Cheers and Happy New Year!

Sorry you find Netflix boring.  I just finished "The Sinner" which I thought was excellent.

I have both Netflix and Prime.  I bought prime for close to nothing during a promotion.  It was probably 2018 when I got Netflix and it has gone from $7.xx to $16.xx.      I don't remember what Prime cost but I pay annually which gives considerable savings.  I've looked at many others but they were too expensive, especially since they don't have such a wide and varied offering. Prime cost $16.15 per month. The free shipping I had will pay for a year.

Most things on Amazon have free shipping with a minimum purchase anyway.  On Prime, many series only let you watch one episode free and then want you to pay $3-4 per episode for the remainder.  Yeah, sure.  If I could only have one it would be Netflix.  I checked and I paid $95 for a year of prime.  When I start getting $16/month debits, I will cancel.  It isn't worth as much as Netflix to me as far as entertainment.  And that's the reason I wanted it in the first place.  I do like ordering with no minimum purchase to place order and get free shipping but that doesn't help make it worth $16/month.  To me.

The $16 is if you choose to pay monthly.

I have Prime and Netfix, but I do not have cable. I hardly watch the services I do have, but since I only pay $9 for Netflix, I'm keeping it for now.

Then sign up for the Basic Plan instead of Standard or Premium. It actually just went up to $10.
