I'm not quite obsessed with the picture, but feel guilty if it's on TV and I'm not watching it. Especially because I'm still trying to figure out where the heck you are!
The scene where DeNiro talks to the Secret Service agent. I’m in the back in blue jeans and reddish orange shirt, arms folded. Go on YouTube and search for Taxi Driver Secret Service.

Good thought, but no! I was 15 in July 1975, and filming was being done around the corner from my house in Brooklyn. I was on my way to the grocery store at my mother’s request and stopped to watch. I was pretty surprised when I got back to school in the fall and my schoolmates said they had seen me in the film!
Haha, I can only imagine! Had it been me, I would probably have been worried for a moment - about where they saw me - until I recalled the shoot.
Hey, isn't that Stu? - Nah, that's Robert De Niro. - No, I mean, behind him!
I was just thinking how it's one thing if my old man is stuck in the seventies, but how did it happen to me? Without wanting to romanticize it, or neglect how Taxi Driver depicts that NYC at night, it still seems like a more creative, free-flowing time.
The only way this story gets any better is if you came home too late, and got into more trouble for blaming it on some "Charles Palantine" running for president.
