What specific felony law did Trump violate?

What law was used to upgrade the misdeanor  business records into a felony?
How do you use it to upgrade to a felony yet not tell the defendant what crime he/she is being accused of committing?

    Hello my:

As you know, I'm a guy who thinks he knows his way around the law.. As such, I CANNOT explain what he's doing.  What I CAN explain is, that in the most important case of his life, DA Bragg ain't winging it..

I want to know how you elevate a misdeanor to a felony without specifying the law (crime) that was committed. Without that proof of that crime being covered there is no 5yr statute of limitations....there is only 2ys and that is way over and done. Even the 5yr (6 with covid ext) is still past....

Bragg better have something going otherwise he is going to look very foolish.

    Hello again, my:

It's a line from The Wire..  We DO utilize "lines" in debates, don't we?  It was spoken by Omar Little, played by Michael Williams, and written by David Simon and Ed Burns.

With his deft skill at sticking up drug dealers, taking their product and money, and giving it out for free, Omar Little is like the Robin Hood of the Baltimore housing projects.

I'm not sure what felony law he violated but I think he upheld a tradition. Yesterday was national Tell A Lie Day and Trump pleaded not guilty. Cheers!

Hey! I put a lot of effort into researching information. I try to keep the political conversations balanced by providing information rather than opinion. The rhetoric on this site is usually civil on such topics, unlike most similar sites.

I'm not happy with the deletions! So please stop that.

I have good reason for deleting my post. I will not be sharing that reason since it would defeat the purpose.

Since I believe you are a responsible contributor, I won't argue. But I'm still frustrated.

I definitely don't care enough to research.

I wish he would be charged for the (alleged) sex crimes he committed against underage girls when he was hanging with Epstein. I suspect they've been paid to be quiet, too.

Never mind hanging with Epstein, if they had started with the failed insurrection they could hang him alone. Treason is a CAPITAL crime.

Agreed, but the law doesn't see it that way.

They should hang all of Epstein's clients...that would include Trump (I do not believe he is a client)

The fact that Epstien and Gaxwell have been charged, found guilty and NO client of theirs has been charged. But

The fact that you can comment that NY is spending millions over a $130k NDA shows that you don't understand the more serious nature of what Trump did.  All of that was explained to you several times yesterday in the thread that is now gone, yet you are still minimizing the nature of the indictment.  Please don't respond to this because I don't have the patience to regurgitate all of the research that was done yesterday.  Thanks.

It was not anything that does not happen every day....NDA are common place. Our GOV has a slush fund for our elected officials to pay off the people they harassment with our tax money.
He is a billionaire playboy with a History of cheating on his wives. It is scummy....but not illegal. And if it is then let's start arresting everyone....start with Bill Clinton and go from there.

As I suspected, you haven't grasped the gravity of the indictments that don't relate to the hush money paid.

All of the indictments relate to hush money....Stephanie Cliffords, McDugal, and a lying doorman....all hush money. Not illegal (no Trump's end)
