In your opinion, what is the Unholy Trinity?

Answers can either be serious or humorous.  This question was inspired by another AM user’s disdain of a particular fruit, a condiment originating in the border region of Spain and France, and a spread made from yeast extract.

For some reason, I’m imagining tilde-shaped worms crawling on peanut butter that was left in a damp sub-basement too long.

    Eww.

Not exactly in a sub-basement, but eww anyway, lol.

That's the exact illustration of that saying of my mother's saying, "It's all true where it happened".

Forrest Gump was on TV today.  I didn’t watch it, but guess who that made me think about, lol.

If you thought of me, I am honored, ha!  :)

I hope to be done apologizing at some point when so very often my personal tastes seemingly SO much differ from most people.

What I meant by my first reply to you here is that I'm trying to get to the point where I don't feel a need to apologize to others simply because, in most of my life, my tastes are very, very often not in sync with most people.  :)

And with that movie, I literally know only one other person who sort of agrees with me about the movie. and the person is on this site.  :)
The rest of the world seems to adore the movie.

There’s no need to apologize for not liking Forrest Gump.  Who says everybody adores that movie?

Watching movies in my family is almost an entirely dysfunctional activity.  Watching Forrest Gump after a holiday dinner at my cousin’s house was the trigger for a fist fight.  One cousin’s negative opinion of Jenny was the flashpoint.  It doesn’t take much with that side of the family.

Anyway, two of my husband’s favorite YouTube channels are Cinema Sins and Screen Junkies which does Honest Trailers.  He watches these while he’s watching the movie.

I loved these! I'm going to check out these channels for more movies I thought were overrated. At least a couple more starred Tom Hanks.

Gee, big surprise. You obsessively plot against someone all day and all night, yet wonder why he’s the person you were thinking of when you cooked up this question. Grrrrrrr.

I used to adore Twinkies, but it seems that they changed the recipe for the filling and I haven't had one in ages.

I used to adore Twinkies as a teenager. Then my system became sensitive to sugar and carbs contents.
Now I monitor my A1C level.

They've changed the recipe for EVERYTHING. Bryers used to be my go to ice cream, the only "popular" brand that didn't thicken with locust bean gum. Since I could taste the thickener I had to read the ingredients list for any ice cream I considered buying. Somewhere along the line, not having bought ice cream for several decades, I was shocked to find that no package of Bryers has the words "ice cream" on the package. It seems that it now doesn't qualify as "ice cream", i.e. meet the FDA guidelines to be called ice cream.

I know what you mean.  I'm trying to stay away from sugar, so it's been a while since I bought ice cream.  If I really want something sweet, I buy Yasso which is frozen yogurt.
