Your description sounded more like Bill Clinton than anyone else.

But Clinton actually got re-elected, didn’t lie about election results, and didn’t turn to violence to try to stay in power. He also was gentlemanly and patriotic enough to attend his successor’s inauguration, unlike Trump.

You attempted to equate Trump with Clinton. Ridiculous comparison.

I read the list of adjectives in the answer....and they all apply to Clinton more than Trump....

I also think the comparison of Clinton and Trump is ridiculous.

You're right that there's no comparison between Clinton and Trump.  Clinton could run circles around Trump any day of the week.  Just take a look at their records of accomplishment (or lack thereof) in office.

LOL ... I actually think he excuse will be that Clinton had two terms and Trump only had one.  Maybe if Trump had done as good a job as Clinton, he would have had a second term.

EDIT TO ADD:  I might also say that during Clinton's two terms, I don't think American troops were fighting in any foreign countries. This post was edited by Spunky at May 24, 2023 9:55 AM MDT

I will be back to go through those.

But economy was better for the entire country until covid.  Then crazy authoritarian Dem govs  shut down their states for a year. That is on them. Not Trump.

No Bill Clinton did not pay anything on the deficit.   No one red cent.  There has not been one single year that debt has decreased  even under Clinton.
Trump is the only President 40+yrs NOT to start a war.

In all fairness, capital markets rise and fall independent of who is president. For example, the stock market took a big dive in October 1987, during the otherwise prosperous 1980s under President Reagan.

Trump supporters like to think that Trump was responsible for the bull market during his presidency.

However, it had little to do with him just as it did in the 1990s with Clinton.

Trump gives very few straight answers. And the reason most people don't like his answers is because they are usally half baked pipe dreams.  At the Town Hall he was asked how he will help the economy and his answer was - drill baby drill. Drilling is not going to help the economy it will only help the oil companies. Cheers!

Drilling is an answer....it is a direct answer.  And that was not all he said...he said when we get BACK to energy independence, it will bring everything back to where it should be.

You may disagree with that answer but it was an direct answer.

If drilling does not effect the economy, why did Biden shut it down on day one of his term? That is when the gas started increasing and when the Bidenflation started.

If Donald Trump's pants were on fire it would be like that tire fire on the Simpsons. It would never go out because there is a lot of flammable material. Cheers!
