Neither.  I'll go with The Temptations and Dion.

I knew the Temptations, way, way back in the day. Not well, but they were around in places I used to
    go to for the music.

Two greats. But I'm more familiar with and love the Stones' music.

Jagger fronts The Rolling Stones. They've been cranking out hits for sixty years. (I  Can't Get No) Satisfaction,  Jumpin' Jack Flash, Let's Spend the Night Together,  Honky Tonk Woman,  Angie, Brown Sugar, Start Me Up are just a few.
Stewart fronted The Faces but is better known as a soloist. Maggie May, Sailing, You Wear It Well, Do You Think I'm Sexy?, Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright), The Motown Song ...
If you've ever turned on a radio in your entire life, you've heard at least some of these. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at October 6, 2024 7:09 AM MDT

You'll then be on the same track as me. ("I"? Yikes.)
