Whats something you wish Harris would of said to Trump during the debate?

During the debate Trump was talking about how weak America's military is thanks to Biden. And he added Russia has these little things called nukes. I think Harris should of said – well we have these big things called thermonuclear weapons and maybe if you didn’t spend all your time telling Russia that America’s military is weak – Putin would be too scared to use his little things. Cheers!

She's too classy to say anything I would have liked to hear her tell Trump.

She is a classy lady. During the debate she always refereed to Trump as Former President Trump or Mr. Trump. But Trump always refereed to Harris as “she” because he has no class. Cheers!

He couldn't even bring himself to look at her. I nearly flipped out when he said that he hears she "puts out."  What a disgusting thing to say.

That's coming from a guy that cheated on his wife shortly after she gave birth to his son. After the debate Swift endorsed Harris and signed it – childless cat lady (shots at JD Vance for saying woman that don’t have kids shouldn’t have as much rights as a woman that have kids and a shot at Trump for saying immigrants from Hattie are eating pets). When Elon musk seen it he posted something along the lines of – Ok Taylor – I will put a baby in you. Cheers!

I saw that comment from Musk.  As if she'd give him a first look, let alone a second.

EDIT:  The edit was to delete the second half of my comment about the wife he cheated on was a lesbian porn star.  There's a new AI algorithm that will "edit" our comments to conform to what someone else thinks should be written, even if it's based on fact and I can tell you that if that's the case, I'm not going to be here for long. As in she put out that she was Indian.  (As in puts out a statement/political/public statement)

Look at the context of what the question was and what he said both before and after. He left out one word...what.

Moderator asked about if Trump should have weighed in on his opponent's racial identify.

FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: "I don't know. I don't know. All I can say is I read where she was not Black, that" [(s) what] "she put outAnd, I'll say that. And then I read that she was black. And that's okay. Either one was okay with me. That's up to her. That's up to her."

(The bold part I added so people can see it was simply a missed word)

Your added language is not what he meant.  He has already been known to say that the she got where she was by "putting out," so try pulling the wool over someone else's eyes - not mine.

"Former President Donald J. Trump used his social-media website on Wednesday to amplify a crude remark about Vice President Kamala Harris that suggested Ms. Harris traded sexual favors to help her political career.

The post, by another user on Truth Social, was an image of Ms. Harris and Hillary Clinton, Mr. Trump’s opponent in 2016. The text read: “Funny how blowjobs impacted both their careers differently…”

The remark was a reference to Mrs. Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, and the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and a right-wing contention that Ms. Harris’s romantic relationship with Willie Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco whom she dated in the mid-1990s while he was speaker of the California State Assembly, fueled her political rise.

Mr. Trump’s repost was the second time in 10 days that the former president shared content from his personal account making sexually oriented attacks on Ms. Harris. Though he has a history of making crass insults about his opponents, the reposts signal Mr. Trump’s willingness to continue to shatter longstanding norms of political speech.

I added the one word....that I believe he.meant to say.

I also believe that if he had intended to say what the meme you mentioned said he would have simply said it straight forward.  Trump is not known for hinting about things.

Personally, IF I was a Harris supporter I would not be draw attention to the meme.

I don't know what "meme" you're talking about.  I copied a direct quote from the NY Times about what Trump posted on Truth Social.  Why is everyone always having to interpret what Trump meant?  The words from the NY Times article relating what he said on Truth Social are pretty clear as to what he meant to say.  Stop making excuses for him and stop trying to interpret what he meant.  You're always talking about context.  Well, in the context of his Truth Social post, what he said at the debate was EXACTLY what he means.

TRUTH social post  you described is a MEME that Trump reposted on his account.   I have seen the meme. I have a copy of it on my phone in case I can use it.   (Not here I don't think it passes the ToS test)   There is another similar one with Monica, Harris and Kaernick....again one I would not post here.

A Truth social post of a meme does not prove that Trump meant to say Harris puts out.   That is not even the right term for the act.  PUTS OUT refers to intercourse not BJ.

The meme is NOT the same as the debate.   The debate is the context...the question before followed by the answer.  (Not some meme post on a social media site)

As far as having to interpret Trump.....from what I have observed.   AntiTrump people are constantly looking for some mistaken word or phrase to point at and say something negative about it.    Rather than looking at the point of the statement. Trump is not a politican he is not politically correct....he speaks plainly.  I have hear many Trump supporters say he speaks like me.

This might explain it more simply:  Trump supporters take Trump words seriously but not literally.
An anti-Trump person takes Trump literally but not seriously. This post was edited by my2cents at September 15, 2024 7:08 AM MDT

Your explanation only serves to show that you don't have any understanding of the correlation between what someone says and what someone means.  Intelligent people say what they mean and they say it in a manner that is clear to those hearing what they say.  However, if you prefer to go through life looking at Trump through rose-colored glasses (or, perhaps blackout glasses would be a better term), that is your choice.

We obviously disagree on who has the better understanding of what was said....no surprises there.

'Trump is not known for hinting about things'. That's probably the funniest thing you've ever posted.

Something that was not a lie or an actual idea of how to get inflation and prices back down.  (Her answer was how she was a middle class child....  WHO CARES?)

But he did answer... Tariffs, closing the border and deporting the illegals.  (From the first question)

Harris said eventually got to increased child tax credit and 50,000 tax credit for business start ups.  This offers nothing to me. Or my sons. (No kids and no startup business) it would likely increase my daughter's tax refund each year.

So if it helps others, but not you, it's no good?

I did not say either one are no good.  But it does not help everyone in the economy.  And only simulates the economy once a year.    And does NOTHING to address inflation.

But if child care was affordable,  more women could enter the workforce and more people could work to provide childcare. Wouldn't that stimulate the economy? I know high unemployment lowers inflation,  but is that a good way to do it?

Well, regarding the child tax credits, I don't have any kids, so why should I pay for your daughter to get a bigger tax break?  Your view is that if it doesn't help you, it shouldn't help anyone else.  What a narrow, selfish point of view.

Republicans do tend to think like that. "What's in it for me?" just has to have been coined by a R voter.
