I like the song but unsure how Dylan is involved.
Same with Leroy Anderson's "Forgotten Dreams, which I absolutely adore. It's all good!  :)

I saw your answer here earlier and thought of it later - - when I heard Meat Loaf singing his hit "I'll Do Anything for Love but I Won't Do That" -- I hate the song and usually don't like MeatLoaf for the same reasons - - he usually sounds to me that he's not good. :)

That's just his Minnesota accent.

He got away with sounding like that because the songs mattered. He's arguably the greatest lyricist in history, Nobel Laureate in literature. But every cover of a Dylan song sounds better that the original, even Knockin' On Heaven's Door which was surprising because Axl Rose can't sing either.

True, but that nasal sound is irritating to me.

I like their version, too.

But I much prefer Dylan's version. :)

Axl can sing. 

Screeches the treble and growls the bass, no clarity. No opera singer in the world, myself included, would call that "singing".

Sorry, but I don't  like opera. 
To each his own.    I will take Axl over opera all day long.
