What will be in Trump’s articles of impeachment this time.

I figure by midterms there will be a shakeup. Because by then American’s will be financially hurting from Trump’s actions. Cuts to SS – food prices going up instead of down like he promised and a bunch of other stuff. And the only ones getting fat will be Trump and his rich friends. Cheers!

You're more optimistic than I am. Trump has convinced his base that up is down and black is white. The chances they would blame him for any financial pain are virtually nil.

I have a sister in law that started going down the Trump rabbit hole years ago. Now she is yelling at Muslims and immigrants to go back to their F ing country. So sometimes it does seem like there is nothing Trump can say or do that will make them change their minds about him. Cheers!

His base are the only folks who vote for him, a lot of the misogynists who abstained from voting because they couldn't bring themselves to vote for a black woman will turn out at the midterms because they'll be hurting. Of course, by then it might be too late - Trump will have stacked the SCOTUS with so many trained seals that the Constitution will mean what he says it means. If he's still alive in 2026, there may not be an election.

I don't think SS will see cuts for some time.  There are any number of ways the SS fund can be made more secure without hurting the middle/lower classes.  It bothers me less that his administration will be made up of ultra wealthy people than the fact that these folks are incompetent for the jobs they are going to be doing.  I can't abide that smug expression on Hegseth's face during his Congressional interview.  I wanted to slap him into next year.
