There are weather changes, fires, floods, big earthquakes, and terrors like never before, Why?

Jesus tells us that these things must increase  right before he comes back in the very last days.

"There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences, in various places, and fearful events, and great signs from heaven," Matt 24:7:

"An angel will fly midair and proclaiming the good news, the everlasting gospel, to every nation, tribe, language, and people, saying fear God, because his judgments has come. Worship him who made the earth, the sea, and the springs of water. Rev 14:7.

How do you know these same occurrences haven't happened for millions or billions of years?

Sounds very similar to the man made climate change fanatics. Just ask Al Gore, the earth is doomed...

How did anyone but God know about the internet, and satellites proclaiming the gospel, and  terrors, and increase in earthquakes, and global warming 2000years ago that are happening now, and just before he comes back? Look at this NBC News link about great earthquakes increasing 259% the last 10 years.

It is significant, Great earthquakes are increasing by 259% the last 10years recorded. Terrorism has increased, famines. God warned about these days  2000 years ago.

God want our attention on him.

In the last days before he comes "There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences, in various places, and fearful events, and great signs from heaven," Matt 24:7:

In past centuries, people didn't typically hear of wars on the other side of the planet until some time after the war was over if they were not affected, if they ever heard of it at all.

(Matthew 24:6) You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

[Only 21 years after World War I, or in 1939, a much worse man-made catastrophe began—World War II. It took the lives of some 50 million men, women, and children. Mass bombings pulverized cities. In World War I, some thousands of soldiers were killed in one battle in just hours, whereas in World War II, only two atom bombs killed over 100,000 people in just seconds. What many consider even worse was the systematic murder of millions in Nazi concentration camps.

7 Several sources state that if we include wars between nations, civil conflicts, and deaths inflicted by governments on their own citizens, those killed in this century would total about 200 million. One source even puts the figure at 360 million. Imagine the horror of it all—the pain, the tears, the anguish, and the ruined lives! In addition, on the average, about 40,000 people, mostly children, die each day from poverty-related causes. Three times that number are killed by abortions every day. Also, about one billion people are too poor to obtain the food needed to do a normal day’s work. All these conditions are evidence of what was foretold in Bible prophecy that we live in “the last days” of this wicked system of things.—2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13; Matthew 24:3-12; Luke 21:10, 11; Revelation 6:3-8.]

Are the Four Horsemen Really on the Move?
The white horse and its heavenly king rider

The white horse, whose rider is a heavenly king. The King, Jesus Christ himself, is the one who rides in the cause of righteousness. (Psalm 45:4) His first task is to rid the heavens of Satan and his demons.—Revelation 6:2; 12:9.

The fiery-colored horse and soldiers on a battlefield

The fiery-colored horse, whose rider has authority “to take peace away from the earth.” (Revelation 6:4) Since 1914, war has constantly plagued mankind. Just 21 years after World War I ended, a second world war broke out, killing far more people. One estimate says that World War II cost some 60 million lives. Since 1945, wars have been more localized but just as brutal. Some historians estimate that well over a hundred million people lost their lives in wars during the 20th century.

The black horse and many starving children

The black horse, whose rider has scales in his hand to depict famine.(Revelation 6:5, 6) During the first world war, an Allied blockade caused some 750,000 deaths in Germany as a result of hunger. Over two million Russians starved to death in 1921, and similar tragedies soon unfolded elsewhere. In all, an estimated 70 million people died of famine during the 20th century. Every year, poor nutrition still contributes to the death of over three million children under the age of five.

The pale horse and diseased patients

The pale horse, whose rider brings death by deadly plague. (Revelation 6:8) The first great 20th-century plague was the Spanish flu. Figures vary widely, but one estimate says that the flu killed some 50 million people. “This pandemic was one of the worst disasters in history,” notes the book Man and Microbes. “Even bubonic plague did not kill so many people so fast.” Smallpox, malaria, and tuberculosis are other infectious diseases that caused hundreds of millions of deaths during the 20th century.

(Matthew 24:36-39) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

So your basing your hypothesis on the last 100 years while disregaring the cycles of an earth which has been in existence billions of years? Sounds a lot like the climate change cult.

We do not need to know the time Jesus is returning. People that become obsessed with this often lead people astray. We should all live our lives believing we will see Jesus the very next day, nobody is guaranteed tomorrow. Obsessing over end times has always detracted from the main part of the gospel which requires living the purposeful life God wants us all to live. Not obsessing over predictions which have proved false every time. Tomorrow is forever but never guaranteed to any human being.

Given the context, it would only cover the time period of human existence, not the earths existence. More specifically, sometime in the last 2,000 years since the words were written.

Yes, so you agree with me that the fact that the earth has been in existence for billions of years is non-relevant, yes?

  • Did you read the rest of the article? Benjamin Horton is a researcher of previous earthquakes. He has found 12 major earthquakes which caused tsunamis over the past 6,000 years. But that's just as far as he can reach with his research.earthquakes have been around for millions of years. This is nothing new.

The time period after the prophecy ony includes some 2,000 years. The previous 4,000 years don't count towards the prophecy. That being said, compare the last 10 years to the time period you refer to and you see an average of 1.8 per year compared to one every 500 years over 8.0.

[Between 2004 and 2014, 18 earthquakes with magnitudes of 8.0 or more rattled subduction zones around the globe. That's an increase of 265 percent over the average rate of the previous century, which saw 71 great quakes, according to a report to the annual meeting of the Geological Society of America this week in Vancouver, British Columbia.]

[Every 500 years ... or so

One of the researchers scoping out Cascadia’s history of ancient earthquakes is Benjamin Horton, a professor in the department of marine and coastal science at Rutgers University.

Horton has trenched and cored in the muds along the the coasts of British Columbia and the northwest United States looking for evidence of earthquakes big enough to trigger massive tsunamis. And he’s found evidence of 12 major earthquakes over a 6,000-year period, an average recurrence interval of 500 years. But that’s just an average, he says, adding that the time between big quakes could be anywhere from 350 to 1,000 years.]

    The signs are there.

(Matthew 24:37-39) For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

ha, ha yes, we can hide our bodies but not our souls from God. There is no reason to hide if we love God we are secure. He always protects us, always!

One thing people seem to be missing is the preaching of the Good News of God's Kingdom that is being preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations. Jesus coming in the flesh and dying and being resurrected to heaven was preached in the first century but this is the first time that the Good News of God's Kingdom has been preached in all the inhabited earth.

(Colossians 1:23) provided, of course, that you continue in the faith, established on the foundation and steadfast, not being shifted away from the hope of that good news that you heard and that was preached in all creation under heaven. Of this good news I, Paul, became a minister.
(1 Timothy 3:16) Indeed, the sacred secret of this godly devotion is admittedly great: ‘He was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, appeared to angels, was preached about among nations, was believed upon in the world, was received up in glory.’
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

(Matthew 24:39) and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

People have to account for their deeds to God (except for those whom Jesus died.).  I begged God for forgiveness so he can take all my sins away. I can only hope and pray that he died for me too 2016 years ago when he took humanities sins on his own shoulders. I pray for you too:)
