There are weather changes, fires, floods, big earthquakes, and terrors like never before, Why?

Jesus tells us that these things must increase  right before he comes back in the very last days.

"There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences, in various places, and fearful events, and great signs from heaven," Matt 24:7:

"An angel will fly midair and proclaiming the good news, the everlasting gospel, to every nation, tribe, language, and people, saying fear God, because his judgments has come. Worship him who made the earth, the sea, and the springs of water. Rev 14:7.

The thing you call god is playing a game. I'm not convinced that the thing you call god has anything to do with God.

More importantly, you're playing the game. It has rules, conditions, a progressive structure, winners, and losers. The church had to turn the gospel message into a game. A theology that doesn't pit people against each other is unAmerican, and economically unfeasible. That's why Christianity will always be a minority religion. Christians can't help but despise it.

You specifically are playing games with the life of an innocent man, who never did a thing to harm you, ever. You have no right to secure a future of pleasure for yourself at the cost of an innocent man's life. Still, It's not my place to live your life for you, I'm just explaining that not everyone is willing to be so flippant as to play such a game.

Having compassion on who you want to have compassion on isn't love. It's also not moral. Evil, unloving, hateful people can have compassion on people who they choose also, and on those who will subjugate themselves according to that person's will. Real love is having compassion on people you don't want to have compassion on. Love it is said, "is not prideful, nor self-seeking, nor does it keep a record of wrongs".

You said something I agree with though. "None of us deserve heaven." That's exactly right. We don't deserve it.

The question we all must ask ourselves, is whether we're the sort of person who selfishly takes things we don't deserve.

As for my sons and daughters...once they become rational moral agents, I would not punish them for failing to follow my rules. I'd do better than forgive my children their flaws, I'd love them in spite of them, even if those flaws are a threat to my ego.

But, if someone offered my child my estate, and payment of their fines, on the condition that they consent to be party to my execution, no child of mine would be so heartless and wicked as to consent to that. If they did, it's my fault as a parent for having failed to raise moral, empathetic children.

The natural disasters that really affect people worldwide tend to become more intense as the years go on. Frequency of earthquakes, mega storms, and heat waves has gone up considerably in the last few decades. Heavy population in areas that get hit by floods, cyclones, and hurricanes has meant that more lives are lost. In some areas, the population has gotten somewhat prepared for the eventuality of disasters and shelters are built for hurricanes and tornadoes. However, loss of property is still a problem, and predicting many natural disasters isn’t easy.

    Who Are Jehovah’s Witnesses?

Carazaa, in other threads you have said that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian because they do not believe in the trinity. Please read this and look up the verses:

I believe Jehovah's Witnesses  is a cult, sorry. I have studied it for 35 years. I don't want to debate this with you because I am trying to witness the true Christ, God's Son(born of a virgin) NOT created, but created the world!.

    REALLY?

I would hardly believe that You have studied JW's for 35 years unless you are a liar. JW's do not believe that Jesus was only a man as you claim:

    Who Is Jesus Christ?

Also, the scriptures show that Jesus is the firstborn of all creation:

(Colossians 1:15-16) He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him.

I have an alternate answer for you........go to Richardnolle.com and read his predictions, based on astrology....he writes his forecasts one year in advance and they are 80-90 percent accurate.

you don't have to 'believe' in astrology to see it working, every day....

There are other astrologers like him who deal mostly in world events..........

I just think it's interesting that this is not accepted by so many people, when it's all around us.....

so DO go to his site and see what he has to say...

as a 'preview' he said that this awful cycle of rage/bad weather/civil unrest, etc., will be around pretty much until September..........

Thank you! However I want God to bless me, not curse me (he warns about listening to astrologers in the Bible) But thank you for the reference. You meant well I am sure:) God is all I need!

The composite sign of events to occur as described in the bible have unfolded since the last days began over a century ago. Luke 21:25,26 says: "also there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation. people will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth. Now more than ever there is anguish of nations because of the rampant violence, crime, and terrorism in one part of the planet or another. Sadly people refuse to acknowledge the only hope for mankind is the existing messianic kingdom in the heavens. this is the only government with the power to totally transform earth into the paradise it was intended to be. You do know that Revelation is highly symbolic and that the keys to it are in the rest of the Bible, yes?

    What does the sea represent?

(Revelation 21:1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more.
(Revelation 17:15) He said to me: “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is sitting, mean peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.
(Isaiah 57:20, 21) “But the wicked are like the restless sea that cannot calm down, And its waters keep tossing up seaweed and mire. 21 There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”

(Luke 21:25) “Also, there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation.

(Proverbs 2:21, 22) For only the upright will reside in the earth, And the blameless will remain in it. 22 As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, And the treacherous will be torn away from it.
(Psalm 37:10, 11) Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

(Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.

If you use the Bible to interpret the Bible instead of holding on to Church dogma, you get no contradictions.

(2 Timothy 3:16) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,

(Psalm 104:5) He has established the earth on its foundations; It will not be moved from its place forever and ever.
(Ecclesiastes 1:4) A generation is going, and a generation is coming, But the earth remains forever.

(Psalm 115:16) As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, But the earth he has given to the sons of men.

    .

[What are the new heavens? The Bible gives two clues that can help us. First, the idea of a new heavens is mentioned by two other Bible writers, and in both cases the words are associated with sweeping changes on this earth. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1-4) Second, in the Bible the term “heavens” can represent rulership, or government. (Isaiah 14:4, 12; Daniel 4:25, 26) The new heavens, then, is a new government, one capable of establishing righteous conditions on earth. There is but one rulership able to accomplish all of that—God’s Kingdom, the heavenly government that Jesus taught us to pray for. That Kingdom will cause God’s righteous will to be done earth wide.—Matthew 6:9, 10.
What is the new earth? Consider two Scriptural facts that help us reach the right conclusion. First, in the Bible the term “earth” at times refers to people, not the globe. (Psalm 96:1) Second, the Bible foretold that under God’s rule, faithful humans would learn righteousness, which would spread earth wide. (Isaiah 26:9) The new earth thus refers to a society of people who would submit to God’s rulership and live by his righteous standards.]
