I've always hated this song. HATED! What songs do you hate?

Post the songs you hate.

The challenge:  Post ONLY songs that don't use offensive words & happen to have been popular in it's day.

Post those songs that make your skin crawl, your stomach turn & lurch, songs that give you a headache, or freeze your brain.

Good call.  I remember that.  I found her version just for you

For the rest of us, I REALLY hated the original too.

  • (I hate Foreigner period  and they are from my hometown.)

I got a few popular songs I think are trash.
    Hey Jude( terrible!)

U2 Sunday Bloody Sunday ( anything by them really but this one especially)

Oh and this trainwreck of a song by Gordon Lightfoot

  • I don't get it.  Online I see so many who agree with me on these but in real life they seem like universal sacred cows. Especially Hey Jude.

(I'd also like to add every song Rush ever made. However it might just be the band I think sounds like crap and not the songs themselves.)

  • I was into D&D, warhammer, and all those other geeky RPG games when I was younger.  A big part of why I stopped playing them was for some reason I couldn't find anyone to play them with who wasn't a raving Rush fanatic and blasted them as the game was on.

  • I have a large collection of Beatle songs and Hey Jude is the only one I have unchecked, in iTunes, so it won't play. It just goes on and on until it gets lost. A tragedy.

  • I'm not much of a fan of a lot of their late 60's stuff but when you say Hey Jude just goes on and on until it gets lost I think you nailed it.
I liked them when they made Rock and Roll a whole bunch though.

Hated Rush.  I never got the appeal.  The lead singer's voice was too high and nasally for me.

I have never heard Britney Spears sing. I have managed to avoid the experience entirely.

Is it OK to pick on duets that involve Paul McCartney?
