I've always hated this song. HATED! What songs do you hate?

Post the songs you hate.

The challenge:  Post ONLY songs that don't use offensive words & happen to have been popular in it's day.

Post those songs that make your skin crawl, your stomach turn & lurch, songs that give you a headache, or freeze your brain.

  • Fine by me ... I liked the Beatles as a group. On their own, it wasn't the same.

I even liked some of Paul McCartney after the Beatles, but thought he really got bad doing these cheesy duets.

  • Well ... this one sure is bad!  Not a very good song choice, for them, either.

I couldn't believe either one of these superstars would do something so lame.  This one is often listed on any countdown of BAD songs.

LOL!  Both great picks PeaPod!  I've always hated both of those songs.

    Aren't they terrible?

Michael Bolton actually gets worse as the song rolls on.  His voice sounds like a mating call of some wild animal.  LOL

  • I liked that team, but that was not their best choice of songs.

YES!!!  I knew there was one I hated more than the two I posted.  It's this one.  It's soooo bad with all the dumb little sound effects with the bad lyrics.

    I vote this number one!

Turn up the sound full screen to get the full effect of this, ... this live performance which is just awful and the track must rate as one of the worst ever written. The lyrics are an insult to civilisation and the lead guitarist is just rubbish!
It ought to be against the law never to have heard this band ....

Haha!  I have to respectfully disagree Grasshopper.  This is the worst Pink Floyd "song"  (agree it should be against the law....)

When the movie came out (The Wall) I went to see it with a bunch of friends.

HATED IT.  No amount of mind altering substances made it any better.

They owe me money for that one.

My apologies! I wasn't serious; I was just messing!
Everything I said in the original post is the opposite of what I feel.
Gilmour is one of the best ever guitarists and Pink Floyd are magic.

That said, except for the wonderfully hilarious ballad in that Scottish accent which is mostly incomprehensible to me, I totally agree with you. I couldn't listen to this regularly; it would be subliminal torture.

I was wondering if you were joking or not.  I've always loved that song and I actually thought that live performance you posted was pretty terrific.  BUT, I didn't want to bash someone when my question really is a subjective one.

BTW, I still HATED the movie.  Hehe.

  • A "love it or hate it" song, I guess, but it did reach #1 on the Billboard Top 100.

You know not all songs that reach #1 deserve to be there.  Here's a little ditty that hit #1 all over the world that I am proud to say I hate.
