How can anyone possibly defend disco music?

It's by far the worst kind of music as a whole and it's lasting influence on pop music has been nothing but a travesty.    From the sound to the style it's tacky and an assault  on the senses and good taste.

It's a clear sign that mixing Quaaludes and cocaine is a very bad idea.

  • Okay they weren't so bad.    A glaring exception.  It's worth noting they started off as  a punk and New wave  band and did the disco thing as irony.

I really don't think of disco when i think of Blondie.  I agree they had enough punk in them to offset the disco.

Haha. I was thinking about teasing you with exactly that one...

Now you admitted two out of two suggestions from my side weren't bad making up all kind of excuses about this and that... There will be good music, even within disco. *told you so look in the eyes*

  • No I admitted one.   Earth Wind & Fire were when they made Funk but turned to chit when they sold out to disco.

  • Yah.   I'm being hyperbolic and dramatic for fun, but truth is I really, really do hate disco.  I love music and find something I like in most types but disco is one a few exceptions I can't find any worth in.  At it's best it's temporarily tolerable to me.   Plus the style and fashion was horrendous.

    This is terrible
