How can anyone possibly defend disco music?

It's by far the worst kind of music as a whole and it's lasting influence on pop music has been nothing but a travesty.    From the sound to the style it's tacky and an assault  on the senses and good taste.

It's a clear sign that mixing Quaaludes and cocaine is a very bad idea.

  • Disco had its moments, it was "of that time", like Punk was. Its easier to hate if you weren't part of it. Much like I feel now about Rap.

    Blame the show Justified for my appreciation of Ganstagrass.  Music has always been a constant in my life.  I embrace it all.  But Bluegrass, Folk, & Blues, all hold a special place in my heart due to the stories they tell.
