What words would immediately cause you to stop reading and skip a post?

We each have our preferences.

I love many of her questions because they help me frame and phrase my thoughts

and because sometimes some very lively and interesting conversations come out of them.

The political ones don't catch me as often.

You know, when I first joined the site, I felt the same way (sorry Rosie), but then I thought that without her and people like her, this site would probably be very slow moving. Plus I think she's alright once u talk to her.
I can see how you can feel that way tho, I used to too.

I am very interested in politics, but most times the questions posted here are intellectually dishonest. They are not geared toward a meaningful conversation, but to further somebody's very specific views.
Also, most are phrased in a way that borders on the insulting and condescending towards those with dissenting views.
No need to apologize, I welcome and enjoy our conversations greatly. I do like.learning about your country and about you as a person.

i see what you did there. i try to go for content first. regardless of who writes, however, im starting to by pass certain names. i want to believe that theres good in everybody. some people just insist on proving me wrong.

Millennials!

OK I am one one but I kind of think it's just a buzzword that's only used by people on TV and radio and by people in marketing.  I've never heard a normal person use "Baby Boomer" "Gen X" or "Millennial" in a regular conversation.

I think youre right Livvie, thats a pretty good observation, thats actually funny, i never toughtof it that way.
