Due to my productive, steady income, I am always giving out money. My handicapped son gets a generous portion every month. Even though she has an income, the spouse always has her hand out. Then there is the cat------------
I hear ya Lulu'sMom! You take care of your kids when they're young and when they're out on their own unless they call on you for help your job is basically done.. Jim took care of his parents when they were elderly and ill as well as holding down a full-time job. His kids were grown by then. He is a nurturer. I am too. So with kids grown and no longer needing us we "adopted" a stray cat and lavish him (Tigger) with a lotta love and attention. Once you get in the habit of being responsible for others it's hard to break it. The kids have done some really great things for us and I agree...a little loving payback is really swell! Thank you for your reply m'dear and Happy Monday. Of course Jim and I also take care of each other! :) ((hugs))
