Are you more of a "big fish/small pond" or "small fish/big pond" kind of person?

In other words, how important is it to you that you're "known"?

No matter what pond I land in, I always amuse myself with creativity.

That's a healthy attitude! I think that I used to be more of a big fish/small pond kind of person. I've learned to just enjoy swimming. :)

I'm a tadpole in an ocean. I like my anonymity and privacy.

I used to have a username on an unmentionable site called bigfishsmallpond... but aside from that there's no connection with me personally :P I think at times I am a small fish, unnoticeable in my little pond and happy to be so... at other times I am a bigger fish... I can handle that but I think if given a choice I prefer anonymity

Seems to me that usually the big fish/small pond people are a bit more narcissistic. If I have to be a big fish, I'd not want a small pond. Too much pressure, I think. I just want to swim however I wish, without eating others or being eaten!

Not everyone thinks like that, but that is good information to have. :)
