Stupid acts and dumb acts and regrettable acts committed while drunk are dime-a-dozen stories. Let's see who among you has a story of something good that happened yet you have no recollection of it, just the resulting evidence.

I don't consume booze, but a friend, "Steve" from my teen years, did. Late one night, he and a carload of fellow intoxicants was pulled over by the Highway Patrol. Steve decided that he would not get out of the car even though his drunk friends did. The trooper tried to physically remove Steve but could barely get his foot in the door when Steve drove off with trooper hanging on for dear life. Meanwhile, the bunch of drunks decided that they would walk over to a nearby fast food place and wait for Steve to "deal" with his current situation. They picked up the trooper's hat and wore it while ordering burgers. As Steve raced down the street, he heard the trooper begging for his life. Anyway, the car eventually stopped and Steve got time in jail. It made the front page of the local newspaper.
My 20's. I made it through.
