  • I respect them but I don’t see them as authority. I can disagree with them and I don’t have to follow their rules.

I see that you've already broken your resolution to stop being such a grammar Nazi.

    Question Authority
    ...there is One
    that has authority
    that I recognize as the
    Highest Authority,
    and easy to accept,
    and that is the oneness
    within you, me, and
    all of us.
         As for all the rest
    ...I just deal with it
on whatever level I have to deal with it.

Authority is not accepted, it is given.

Now try to follow this: People think they are not competent to decide what is right or wrong, so they give authority to people to decide what is right or wrong.

And in all human history, every such group of people has eventually collapsed because that system does not work right. Libya lasted 2800 years. You have no idea where that country is or what it does, do you?

Nevertheless, people without a central government get sorta crazy after about 150 years of prosperity and demand a king or dictator or some form of central government. And then they spend the rest of their lives complaining about abuse of authority. You would think they should eventually grow a brain and stop doing that. But they don't.

  • It’s near Egypt. Ive been to Egypt. Maybe next time people won’t demand to be ruled. We might get organised and make it work. We might not be ready for it yet but I hope one day we will.

insanity - repeating mistake, expecting different results

But you are correct about Libya being on the same continent with Egypt.
