Wow, what a coincidence! I don't like guacamole either, I don't even like the avocados from which it's made. I won't eat that vile, putrid substance. By the way, before the naysayers attack, I have tried it and I know I don't like it.
As for trying anything once, nope. The word "anything" is too broad; not all things in life need to be experienced in order for a person knows he or she doesn't like them. ~

I had been aware of that for a number of years and happened one day to drive past a store called Tao. I was fascinated that someone would name a store that way and I stopped to see what the concept might be.
It was an interesting store with various and diverse objects, but I saw no obvious connection with Chinese philosophy.
I bought something that intrigued me, and started talking with the owner about how she came to name the store.
Her reply---"Well, Tao stands for 'try anything once,' so we just used the letters of that phrase for the name.
