POLL: what is the NUMBER ONE reason you live in the city in which you live? ~

I was born and raised here, and I've never lived anywhere else.
I was born here, I've lived elsewhere, and I returned here by choice.
I was born here, I've lived elsewhere, and returned here, but not by choice. Life's circumstances.
I live here because of life's circumstances.
I am only living here temporarily, I plan to move on soon.
I live here now due to life's circumstances, but I plan to move on someday.
Because my significant other prefers this city and will not move.
Because my parent(s) died here and I won't leave her/him/them.
This is where the job is/the jobs are.
Because of the schools.
Because of the weather.
Because of the housing choices/availability/prices.
I'm stuck here, that's why.
Because it's about as far way from you as I can get. (Remember, the restraining order is still Valid!)
Two or more of the above.
None of the above/other answer.

London is more like a State run open prison really...20 mph speed limits and God help you if you ever dare stop or park anywhere.....
We are the most spied upon country in the world.....mostly all to make money for central and local goverment

Why anyone wants to live in London I will never know...

Not being a Brit, I had to look up the definition of bint:

From Arabic بِنْت (bínt, “girl, daughter”), used to denote a patronym. It is used as a derogatory slang word in the United Kingdom, meaning 'woman' or 'girl'. Its register varies from that of the harsher bitch to an affectionate term for a young woman, the latter being more commonly associated with the West Midlands.

I live here due to failure. Yes, my ancestors failed at farming in the Nebraska territory back in the 1800s. So they came back to the eastern midwest area and prospered. They painted houses.

I don't pay rent. My father built two houses, paid for as he went along. My brother lives in one and I live in the other. So I don't have to work.

There isn't any other reason to live here. The only thing to do in this town is go to some other town.

Years ago I lived with a boyfriend in Eastern MA and got to like the area so kept returning and eventually settling and finding a good job.  When we married my husband and I pooled resources and bought a home in a safe, nearby, nd for us attractive upscale country suburb.

Two or more of the above.  I'm happy I'm here and will be happier when we buy our hurricane and winter get-a-way north of here.
