I bet "lounge lizard" does not mean the same thing in UK as it does in USA.

From what you said, I am thinking, perhaps not. Does it mean something bad?

Oh my2 I hope you will laugh at this.... when I visited a friend in America, I drove her half crazy with my *love* of American trucks. I even made her go visit a stop so that I could jump out and take pictures of the trucks there.. She suggested that if I like trucks so much then I should find myself a nice trucker and marry him.  So, perhaps *I* am a lounge lizard after all :P
In my defence this is that, just like Britland is inferior, imo, because we don't have porches - we are also woefully lacking in our truck styling. Ours are so boring! Utterly unlike American trucks which are glorious and almost objects of art. And to be fair quite a few Brits admire, or more, your American trucks  and pine over the fact we don't have lovely trucks like you do.

Lol. These are more like low class gold diggers...thinking the semi-trucker is gold.
You strike me as more classy than that.

I really like your answer because my husband's name is Don and I know he feels the same.   I wouldn't trade him in for the world.  I"m his pet too so we are mutual pets. :)

One of these. I don't have to do anything and I will get fed anyway. I might live longer than my owner.

And I love you for sharing it!!
Where do you find these tracks? Is this what you listen to and think about in your spare time?..  I fearfully ask ;)
In all sincerity this was great.  It is 10:41 right now, dark and eerie outside at my parent's house.  The dogs are looking at my computer like it is possessed.  The goats just started to bleat!
You are amazing Welby and if you were to become a reptile, I KNOW you would gather your fellow reptiles around and start a band.
    Very Cool!

    :)
I've been listening to this album "on repeat" for almost six months, maybe. It's in my personal Top Three Best Albums I've Heard."
Yeah, I listen to it a lot lately.
    :)
And your dogs were mesmerized? Cool. And the goats chimed in.
    :)
What's funny is that I don't remember how I was introduced to this album and Shriekback but both are favorites of mine.
I've posted many of the songs 'disguised as questions' on the site here.
    :)

Well, i was going to say Parrot, but they cannot be domesticated, so I guess i will have to go with fish. I want to be a fish.

It doesn't surprise me you thought of parrot because I can't imagine you being able to be domesticated either.  Had you gone with parrot and Element to become a turtle, the two of you would have sent me to an early grave :D!
A fish is a very fine choice.  I would like to be a fish too.  Not a betta, mind you; but rather a nice, rather friendly fish that would love to help others learn how to blow bubbles and do flips and such.  A fish would be a fun thing for you to be.  Off the top of my head at 11 pm,  I"m not sure if they are carbon based.  Key words there, "Not sure."  I do know they are crucial in the marine carbon cycle.  I'll have to look that up.  Embarrassed as I am.  Me, the lover of all things, carbon or not, should most definitely know this.
