I stopped worshipping any kind of gods or God a long time ago. What do you think is there that is worthy of any kind of worship anyway?

Is non-belief is a form of worshipping the devil,  the demons or Satan et al if they exist?

Aye, indeed. You play into the hands of the adversary and do what he wants you to do anyway. Your actions count more to his world than your beliefs. It is a fallacy preached among Christians that actions don't matter and all is forgiven under the New Testament. Wrong, salvation is conditional.  Many are Luciferians without knowing they are or believing in a Devil or Fallen Angel. The spreading of its doctrine is what is needed to create the atmosphere for anti-christ. Remember one road to Salvation. Many roads to Hell. When you question the existence of any supernatural elements and how they originated seems  all from the inventive imaginations of ancient people asking in those days how to explain causes.

No, it's simply religious nonsense to say that non-worship is playing into the devil's hands.. what devil!  See the whole thing is hogwash.  If there is no god there is no devil and non-worship is more a breaking free of the chains of mind-washing and dogma that people are brainwashed with.

Just aeems natural for humans even for small cultures far remote from civilization  (as we know it) always  to develop belief in some form of supernatural spiritual powers sort of thing that helps them to explain the unknown. Can be a good thing long as they don't get crazy ideas like needing to do human sacrifice every evening to ensure a following sunrise and stuff like that.

Agreed, in times when humans were not advanced enough to have found explanations and understandings many did develop gods.. but that, in itself tells us that it's unlikely any were more right or correct than any other.. American Indians believed animals and even trees had spirits.. are they more or less valid in their beliefs? I don't think so.. I guess my worry re religion like that is that it very much does control and limit people, not always in a good way, hence sacrifices, and people doing bad things, killing, in the name of their god.

That might work long as they do not undue advantage of us.

What kind of terminology would be suitable for worship of women? Like saying "WOW!!" kind of things ok? This post was edited by Kittigate at June 27, 2018 3:39 AM MDT

If you want to know something about God, it only makes sense to look in the book He gave for that purpose.

It is not reliable to let people tell you what the bible says. Many people will make up stuff because they don't know what it says, and many will make up stuff because they wish it would not say what it says. You just have to read it for yourself.

Read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read to find wisdom.

When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians.

Here is a book to help you to understand the bible. It's a free download and you can get a hard copy at any bible book store.

Don, the bible was given for the purpose of answering the question. But you have to give up your arrogant posturing to get it. You get a choice: you can follow the God of rightness, or you can follow the god of this world, or you can follow your own brain farts.

Lashing out at me for “posturing”, doesn’t obscure the fact that you completely missed the point of the questions, self-absorbed as you are in your proselytizing.

There are other choices your closed loop of a mind won’t admit, JV, but your intransigence is your own fault, and your biggest problem. This post was edited by Don Barzini at June 29, 2018 9:13 PM MDT

God is the God of rightness. If you don't put rightness first, it doesn't matter much what you do instead.
