The Elite??? Who the heck are they, is this some body or organisation I've never heard of? Sounds like another crackpot conspiracy theory bunch to me. 

The very words symbology and ritual in this connection bring shivers to my spine, it makes me cringe that people believe that kind of thing.. 

Philosophically there have always been those who are rich and powerful*, and to a large extent they control and run things, however it's a two way street and they cannot do anything without the  masses and populace.. The populace also have control and the ability to overrule if they wish; thankfully not all of the masses are stupid.

An example here would be back when aristocrats and very wealthy people ruled the UK, this was during colonial times, common people had NO say and were pretty much treated like slaves themselves, Most people didn't even have a vote.. However, in defence it was also those same aristos who began changes which lead to common people having more say.

 If by "Elite" you mean the rich and powerful then I'd have to say that some of them do believe in God. However, the symbology and ritual are unneeded if they do believe because we are to worship God in spirit and truth, not by symbology and ritual. Again, if by "Elite" you mean the rich and powerful, I don't serve them. As a believer in and follower of the Messiah, I serve only God, not the elite. Yes, it does matter what I believe because without that belief and I might add, faith, Messiah wouldn't be my Savior and I wouldn't have received salvation. To be very clear, the "Elite" can never take that away from me. :)

You are absolutely correct, unsure of motive but they do believe in Lucifer, tubal cain and all the others.

You'd have to look at Helena Blavatsky who wrote ISIS unveiled and The Secret Doctrine, Aleister Crowley, Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike, and Manly P Hall.
