  • The Law of Mechanical Repair – After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch & you’ll have to pee.

The sadder part of your truth is I am planning on adding oil to my car tomorrow (today).  Grease will be involved. AAaahhhh!  What a frightening thought!
ALF, Thanks for taking a moment and answering :) :)

This is soooo out-of-whack but your picture brought the vision of John Travolta singing Grease Lightening to mind!
What is the matter with me?
    rhetorical question ;D!
I'm off to add oil to my car.
    Thanks ALF! :) :)

What a cool question... I am thinking there are loads ... so many we don't even realise... We Brits always say sorry... if someone bumps into us WE say sorry.. no one ever taught me this, it's not written down as far as I know.. but I do it, automatically... Personal space is another... not parking in a disabled space, (tho some people do!) parking in front of the neighbours house... those are just a few

Keep in mind this incident started inside a tavern --------------- a local fellow had his foot accidently stepped on by a clumsy drunk.  Somehow, a fight broke out between them. After that, they followed the guy home where they took aim AND SHOT AT THE GUY"S HOUSE!  I guess someone shoulda said 'sorry' upon stepping on the foot.

Adaydreambeliever, you are Awesome!  Those are great examples and exactly what I was looking for.  I can see you saying "sorry" for bumping into people.  You are a very considerate person to others and animals. :) :).  I have a HUGE issue with people who park in handicapped zones who are not disabled or handicapped.  It is one of my biggest pet-peeves.  If a person is healthy and doesn't need them, be grateful and leave them for people who unfortunately do.  Walking a few extra steps is NOT going to hurt.   I worked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association for many years and I know how sad it is to see these children and adults who need those spots.  I'm sooooo glad you don't park in them and are smart to know why.  :) :)  Thanks for taking the time to answer and the compliment.  Have a great Sunday.  Love and pats to your cats and puppy too :) :) This post was edited by Merlin at July 15, 2018 4:45 PM MDT

I have a handicapped tag, but I rarely use it. I often see folks parking in them with a tag, but when they leave the car, they are obviously NOT handicapped, just borrowing someone else's tag.

Don't women always want somebody to go with them? What's up with that?

That's a generalisation but... women, unlike men, DO very much engage in conversation in the loos.. SO asking someone to go with them probably just means they want to talk, lol probably about their date, menfolk etc.

Element, don't forget Clauses 2 and 3 of that rule:

Clause 2 -- men standing next to each other at urinals are NEVER to make eye contact with each other!
Clause 3 -- men standing next to each other at urinals are NEVER to look down at each other's junk.

Eyes and head straight ahead at all times except when looking directly down at one's own junk!
