Here we go again. What exactly do you think "motivation" means?
The classic example of motivation is "the carrot and the stick". Ok, let's do a thought experiment: picture in your mind a carrot on one side and a stick on the other side, and tell me what's in the middle. Most people picture a jackass. So motivation is when you consider people to be jackasses.
It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree, what's important is what meaning do you have INSTEAD?
You really are a riot, such a card... I am wondering what your motivation is in using terms like, 'Here we go again'... You cite a classic example.. yes, but it's by far not the only one, I'd think you would be aware of that. Being a Brit I am very well aware of what motivation means... I am wondering why you believe differently. For clarification, motivation isn't a narrow term, it certainly doesn't only encompass asses :P
I'm not really sure of anything definite yet. My raisin d'etre is because the world was short one person and it was my turn to come and fill the vacancy.
I beg to differ Kittigate. You are a great asset to the world and we don't have an under-population problem. You have helped and touched many lives and made the world a better place. I am SURE of it. Look at your cat, for example! Now, how sad would she/he be if you weren't here?
I don't know. I've heard a lot of many outrageous things. Besides, what matters is it is important to you. I think that knocks it out of the pathetic category. :) :)
A fabulous sentiment, we should all try to be better people, it's not an easy thing and all too easy to slip back but if we keep trying that's a start.
