If AnswerMug were a movie set in a prison, either drama or comedy, which stereotypical character would you be? ~

The choices include various prisoners, staff, family members and friends of the inmates, members of the public, etc.

I'd be a congresswoman pushing for prison reform.

What I have learned about prisons in the last couple of weeks makes me wonder why people who can bring about changes are not doing anything.  It is a real shame.

I would be the sneaky quiet inmate, always scheming ways to escape. My nickname would be 'The Professor'.

I work in a prison as a correctional officer. I don’t fit any of the stereotypes.

I'm not asking which actor would portray you, I'm asking what would your role be.

I don't think I know of enough prison movies to know what a prison movie stereotype would be.

The closest thing I thought of was that I could be the Morgan Freeman-ish voiceover.

Sigh. That's not fair. You know I've already been typecast and the only role I have any hope of getting now is the warden. Just once, I'd like to play the prisoner with a dark and mysterious past who nobody knows anything about. You know, the one everyone is a little afraid of because they think she's a little crazy and perhaps violent, but is really benevolent and doesn't belong in prison. I'm going to speak with my agent again.

(I also had you pegged as a Warden, so I'm glad you answered. Oh, and don't bother speaking with your agent: 90% of the producers in this town are in my back pocket, and I wouldn't want to see you in a lesser role. Tie your hair back into a tight, severe bun, then don your favorite dark-colored pants suit and sensible shoes.)
