Can you name/say one good thing about your ex?

Doesn't have to be a recent ex.. but something you admired and liked them for.

    All of my exes were very nice girls with whom things just didn't work out. I'm still friends with two of them - so is my wife.

    I can actually imagine that about you.. You seem a very nice guy and I know you chose well when you chose your wife as you are still happily married.

    My ex-boyfriends?   Well they all liked me and made time and space in their lives for me and helped me enjoy mine considerably.  I learned so much from them and I am thankful they wanted me in their lives. Their were some not-so-fortunate aspects occasionally but only one really went bad on me.  So many different kinds of men and I thank God for them. 

    Occurs to me that you may be looking for more specific good qualities rather than so general. And if so I will be happy to oblige.  But please I am older so I do have a number of exes.
