I have a conceal and carry license so I have a firearm on or with me at all times with the exception of taking my niece and nephew to school. School are no fun zones. I actually obey that law. I also carry potent OC/pepper spray. I’m always prepared to defend myself or another innocent person. My personal choice. I’d rather be armed/prepared and not need than not be armed and need it. I refuse to be a defenseless victim. 

No. I wouldn't mind having a telescopic baton, though. That was Benjamin Linus' primary weapon in Lost, and I always thought it was so cool.
