China - coral - communist party (now a capitalist dictatorship) an immovable monolith growing in endless accretions on itself
Bahrain - hummingbird - frenzied for the honey of shopping
USA - ants - plutocracy, (the "government" really has no say) economic hegemonies all over the world
Australia - feral goats - challenging and knocking each other off the rock every 5 minutes
Switzerland - giraffe - too high up to bother with the affairs of others
Greenland - whale - the government it goes its own way

They say English bulldog represents us.. .but that's not a wild animal.. I am thinking owl... they are cool and wise.. or perhaps a deer... a deer is cautious, but cute and serene.
