I have chicken wing shoulder blades for slouching during my adolescence, at least I assume that's why

  • Scoliosis is one, which looks like the man's issue in the picture that El posted.

My older sister had scoliosis when I was a pre-teen.  It was rough on her; that's no way for a teenaged girl to go through her high school years.

  • That's awful.   I  remember a few people in school who had to wear a brace because of it.    It really has to be hard to be school-aged and have to deal with something like that.  And those braces alone looked horrendous and painful.

That's exactly what my sister had to do. The brace went from her neck to her pelvis. I don't know how long she had to wear it, at least several months, maybe an entire year.

  • Poor thing.  The contraption looked as painful as I am sure the condition must have been.  It is difficult to see kids suffer conditions that they should not have to endure.  I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for her, but I hope that the brace helped and she was able to live an otherwise happy childhood/life in spite of that.

Thank you. My sister had a horrible time of it, worse than anything I'd care to recount here. There was no fairy tale ending. --

(I'm completely off topic, I know. But I don't recognize the couple in your current avatar -- I like that image, though! And I like it not just because I find the guy sort of hot! Ha!)

  • LOL   you are so funny.  I actually don't know who they are either, but I love their facial expressions.    The man sort of reminds me of Adam Carolla dressed up 1950's style, although I doubt it's him.    You do have good taste though - he's not bad looking.  :)

Thanks, lavender -- yes their expressions are perfect. I don't know the purpose for their expressions but it's so appealing to me.
Yup -- I'll now admit it even more -- I find him way hot. Ha!
    :)

I like her hair style, too.
