Why don't you join a church. Everyone will invite you. They have socials and everything. Your plate and calendar will be full and you can meet some nice people. At least TRY instead of complaining about the same thing over and over.
That's awesome. They do some amazing things for the children and their families.

With my daughter and son in law. They both work the next day though, so it will be a short visit. Thankfully, no one invites us either (because they know we are introverts), so there are no obligations. My in laws thankfully celebrate the holidays in January, when more of the family is available, and we are all not all sick of hearing about the Holidays, so it's nice, even for us introverts.
My guy went back to the UK too. Actually he was deported and we were just friends but I'll miss him like crazy this Christmas because he had a lot of holiday spirit. Cheers and happy 6 more sleeps till Christmas!
Hello Cinders717 I will be spending Christmas Eve at my place . My son will get here this week-end and the other kids will be here Christmas eve. They will spend the night here and we will have Christmas morning together. At noon we will all head down to my Mothers house to meet up with the rest of the family for the rest of the day. My son will have to leave the next morning as will the rest. New Years my daughter wants to have a party up at the house so I will be spending most of the night in my room...
