Basically I think you have to do (or not do) things that will help you like yourself more. Try to make people happier, healthier some way.. try to think more positively about people and establishments you tend not to like. It accumulates in your subconscious where it impacts your conscious mind to change/improve your attitude. That is my thoughts anyway.
Hi righty1 -- I hope you have found your "bad" (I saw Kittigate's thread) attitude more to your liking as of your December posting this past December. :)
I wish I could have seen a Benedict Arnold's answer which you chose as a Pick -- there is nothing there but an empty square for me. :)
But, lately for me, past several months, I've been using The Serenity Prayer a lot and it's been of help to me to keep things in a more rational perspective for me. I think (Ha!). And it can help my negative-at-times attitude. Even if one is not a believe in a Higher Power of some kind, the prayer, I would think, could be maybe helpful. And, BOY!!! -- if I could read this particular Serenity Prayer IN PERSON - - - that could be GREAT!! Ha! :)
