Hmm speaking as a non-American... I would say that there's a big difference in accepting it and liking it.. It seems to me that there are strong feelings on either side and the two sides are quite opposing.. so whichever side wins there will be those that don't like it.
What does it mean to "accept" it? I hear this phrasing all the time and I'm not really clear on what it means. There are people who don't accept the world is round. They will always be wrong, but their lack of acceptance doesn't affect me so I don't care what they do and don't accept.
I, too, would like to hear from the whining and childish among us. Those who also haven't accepted the fact that we are a nation of laws that will not be changed constantly because some among us don't like where this representative republic takes us on occasion. Fortunately for all of us, there are enough "adults" out here to keep this great experiment in democracy up and running.
Yes, I will just like I have every election. I don't have a lot to say as I tend to keep my mouth shut. My parents were that way as they never talked politics. We all vote and that's about the end of the discussion.
American presidents have been getting less and less acceptable for an entire century. You can't see what's coming? Here is a free ebook that lays it all out in simple words: https://comingdarkage.blogspot.com/
My initial reaction was laughter and thinking that this discussion should be in the "Humor & Jokes" category, but then I thought that he might be serious.
So trying to remain on the serious side I thought that going through the 34,000+ postings in the Politics category and the 31,000+ discussions in the Statements section, since Dec. 2015, might hold the answer.
But no ... this definitely belongs in the "Humor & Jokes" category.
You have to be living under a rock to not know what ties Trump and his cronies had to Russia for the purpose of influencing the results of the 2016 election. 34 indictments aren't enough to convince you but I understand you need proof and I have no doubt you will have it when the Mueller report is revealed!
What occurred when Trump won.....half the country crying, screaming, rolling on the ground, yelling 'he's not my president.' There's a couple on this site who are still off the rails about it.
