  • "Yes" ... I worked at a car wash for about two weeks and the Boss fired me.
     I found out a couple of months later that my Father had him fire me
     because he (my Dad) didn't want me working at a "dead-end job."

  • Being fired doesn't look good on a resume and that follows you for a long time.

    Also, you can't get a good job without a resume or a degree and then I had neither.

    then u need to get help from employment specialist to help u find jobs after u got fired from several jobs.

    Many times when I was younger......I tried out as a human CannonBall with guite a few Circuses ,but always got fired on the very first day......For what ever reasons they didn'tlike me.....they never actually said....but they all seemed to want to get shot of me......:(
     I kind of got DisChareged for every high flying I applied for.....on the other hand ....I didn't have any real experience for such a High Flying job......
    May be it was a Pilot scheme that never actually took off  ......I was terriblely inexperienced and was only trying to Wing it I suppose 
    The reasons they got rid of me was not really Plane to me.......but saying that I mostly took Flight right after my  first interview:    :( Well ....my dad alway said its best to go out with a Big Bang......and I never liked to Dissapointed him.....:)D

    My first ever office job. I was a receptionist with a short skirt showing my legs.  I had sex with three people in the office including a VP in a steam bath in full view of several of his male underlings.  That was in the early 80s.  I was 23.

      Er, um, what's there to believe or to disbelieve?  You didn't write word one about being fired.

      It's not "my" question; Element 99 asked it. 

      Your answer gives anecdotes about what happened on the job, nothing more. There's no who, what, when, why or how that indicates you were fired. You may assume that it's understood because it's what you posted as an answer to Element's question, but you didn't even infer nor imply that you weere fired. Reread your answer yourself from the point of view of an objective third party and you may see that. Or not. (Shrug.)

      For some strange reason, they didn't keep me around for very long when I worked at the tilde factory. Someone was pocketing the merchandise and somehow I got all the blame. I got the boot after only three weeks on the job. (There wasn't one shred of evidence, mind you.)

    Oh yes.  I have some good firings too.

    But I have had hundreds of jobs in my life, I mostly quit when I was unhappy.  But I have been fired too.

    Considering the many jobs I have had, the firings were not that frequent.  But the quittings were very frequent.

    I cannot stay in a place where I know I will hate every second.

    Can't do it.

    I worked for two weeks in a sugar factory. Did you ever see that Lucille Ball episode where she is trying to keep up with the stuff on the conveyor belt? That's me.
