    Hahaha...I was there, at Oakland..was that the one with Foreigner and Iron maiden..Saw them again in Oakland with Ratt and Y&T and Metallica...
    Great shows...Went to one with Journey, Cheap Trick and Eric Martin

  • Hahah yes, it was Foreigner, Loverboy, Scorpions, and Iron Maiden  -  That was a great show.   I didn't see the Y&T DOG, but I caught Gamma, 38 Special, Kansas, and my fave, UFO.   Good times!    I missed the Cheap Trick one unfortunately, but I did catch them with Pat Travers at the Henry J Kaiser center or one of those places.  So much fun.   How funny that we were at the same DOG.  I was the redhead with denim, maybe you saw me?   LOL jk This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at January 14, 2019 11:15 AM MST

    Such great concerts back then. Did you ever see any at Candlestick, saw the stones there, and journey. Or the Mountain Aires show up in angels camp, saw foreigner and night Ranger with Glenn Fry there.

    Yeah, I missed most of those shows.   They also used to do yearly concerts up in Hidden Valley Lake. Other than the DOG's that I went to, I usually hit the smaller venues, Nile Station, Weekes Park, and my dad worked several at CSHU ( now called Cal State East Bay), so I hit those as well.  Missed most of the "good" stuff, including Cal Jam.
