SUCH a waste of time. Most of the useless info could have easily been sent via email, that way I could "delete" it rather than leave the office entirely. On the rare occasion that I actually attended, I always had my pen and a doodle pad, so either way I shut them out.
Yes ... and think of all the work everyone could actually be getting done if they weren’t sitting in the dumb meeting. Good idea to doodle them out. ????
That's another thing that always irked me about the stupid meetings. We had state laws and company protocal to abide by, and those ridiculous meetings made making our deadlines even more difficult. When I was particularly concerned about making a deadline, I would just pretend I was the phone while the sheep flocked to the meeting and stay back to work. This is my second rant this morning lol... I should probably stay away from coffee for the rest of the day. :P
I never went to those. Sometimes we would have to put a sign-in sheet at the entrance to the auditorium and I would sign it and go back to my office. I always already knew what was going on so I saw no reason to sit through those things.
In a store seeing an ex bf has just walked in or an ex friend I get out fast! In Mcds once and saw a guy with glazed eyes and very spasmodic behaviour, hands in and out of pockets didn't look right had just walked in. So I left with several other customers that felt he was ready to go off and harm someone. I never take a chance when my personal security is at risk!
