I like meatballs in my salad sometimes.

     Cooked Haloumi cheese or Pomegranate Syrup......it's a Turkish salad dressing  :)

    They make no noise apart from the sizzling cheese frying....Yes the aroma from it frying does make won's mouth water.......  :)

    Purple violet flowers. I read that they are eatable. (not much flavor, like clover leaves)

    Yes, edible flowers!  I had them once or twice in my salad at some restaurant...can't remember the name.

    I like green olives  ,I prefer them hole and not sliced though.....I like the bite ,but much prefer a good ole nibble....:)D

    Try fresh ones.  Maybe you don't like the salty canned ones.

    We have our seasonal Lake Erie smelts, bu you already know that. I haven't had them in year because neither wife would eat them. Mom used to fry up a batch every year.
