Do you like doing house chores? If so, which one is your favorite? And, for those who hate them, which one do you hate the most?

    I don't like cleaning the fridge, very tedious.  Maybe I should do more often than every 5 years. 

    Easiest is washing the 96 square feet of wall in the hallway where no pictures are hanging. The rest of the walls don't need to be washed anyway.  This post was edited by Kittigate at March 23, 2019 12:11 PM MDT

    I'm weird. I've already acknowledged that. I love cleaning and all of it. Dusting, mopping, vacuuming and even cleaning the toilets. I am a laundry machine and I iron all of my husband's slacks.

    I used to do that in the '80s. I cleaned beach houses and luxury condos. Back then, I worked for my ex and didn't see a dime of it. 

    I would love to have a cleaning business as I see most folks don't have the time to clean as thoroughly as they would like. But, that's a pipe dream.

    Does your wife need help? I'm available! ;)

    Only if you live in the Toledo area. I am having surgery in a couple of weeks and will not be able to work with her for two months. She started the business about 30 years ago and was making more than I was as a teacher. We are getting older and cannot work as we did 15 years ago.

    When I was a kid I had to do chores all of the time and hated it because I couldn't hang out with my friends.  However, with my own house, I do like it to be clean and don't mind it as much.  I hate cleaning the oven, though.  It's a non self-cleaning oven.  When I'm rich I will buy a self-cleaning oven - yeah!

    Keep the oven on. It will burn all of the debris and make it easier to remove.

    I love working outside on my property, it takes most of my free time but it has been worth it. Lucky for me the chore I most dislike I don't have to do very often and it is when I have to clean the open truss work of my ceiling, ladders and extension polls and pails of water, which I have dropped on a few occasions..the inside of my house attracts a lot of dust.

    Depends on my mood. I’ve been known to catch the cleaning fever and overhaul entire rooms. This I suppose is a legacy of spending my childhood in virtual squalor. I especially like tending to the landscaping on our property, but I dislike cleaning the pool.

    I hear ya!  I can't stand folding it.  I always had to wash my one brother's football stuff.  What a pain!  That's probably why I don't like it now.

      I don't mind lifting my feet as my wife vacuums the carpet, just as long as she's given me a sandwich first and only if it's not during the football game.
