I'm a maniac so I throw it to the birds! ;) Seriously though, I store it in the fridge because it gets moldy fast. It can last for months in the fridge.
Weird! I was just talking about this today, cos randomly came up. I had no idea how many people keep it in fridge or freezer. I use a breadbox.

Goodness a breadbox? I think of them as being very 1950s - like we never had one but my older aunt had one and you would go in there and find all manner of beetles and mold. Have seen some people who do keep bread in the freezer but they never eat it.
I’ve always had a bread box cos I think it would look cluttered just leaving on the counter. I also have a thing to hang bananas off of too lol. I’m guessing that’s weird also:)
Since I have been running around so much and working all days with no time off? I throw a lot of food away. I just don't have time to eat some of it. I have some at work. (Half loaf of Chompie's French sliced bread) and home. Some Ezekiel whole grain flat bread that tastes terrible and I won't eat.
I hope you are still fascinated. I got more. I can tell you about baking the stuff and eating it too. I used to do that. I lost my touch.
Huh, maybe bread boxes are another weird Canadian thing. Like milk in bags, not cartons.

I don't like to eat bread, but I do keep it around. I store it in the refrigerator. When I do break down and eat it, I store it on my gut. Abs become flabs. I hate carbs. I love carbs, but I hate carbs. Mac and cheese not a carb. Mac and cheese is a vegetable. It has to be.
I hear ya’ I have a love hate relationship with carbs too. I’m actually off them right now cos tying to drop 5 pounds. I think that’s why so many of my posts have been about food lately lol. I’m faaaking starving :)
