Death of the body simply occurs when the soul ceases to share its act of existence with it---we're still all immortal.

I'm not going to die penniless. (Although that sounds like good timing to me.)

The only bad thing about being retired is that you never get a day off from it---but that is in no way a bad thing.

If you had a long life working hard during your young years you must be happy to retire

Of course I will!  At the moment we are driving from Vero Beach, Florida to Vancouver, British Columbia.   We've stopped along the way to see two grown children and a sister.  Tonight we are in Boulder, Colorado.  I send bi-weekly (mostly less) updates to family and friends along with pictures.  I'm glad to add as many to my list of recipients as want to be on it.  We'll be gone for another month.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your trip! I'd love to see pics! Especially if you (safely) encounter any bears or cougars! :)

    Most things.
    My husband.
    My friends.
The environment in which I live.
    My studies at uni.
There are a few niggles that periodically worry me, but for the most part I'm very happy most of the time.

I'm 73. The hardest part of my life is over. Everything is easier now until I kick the bucket. This post was edited by Kittigate at April 23, 2019 6:53 PM MDT

Being incredibly fortunate in having found my soul mate so young. We've been together more than thirty years and I'm not 50 yet (quite).

I'm happy I finally have a day off and I am happy to go back to work tomorrow.

That is a place I have never been in.  I always dreaded my jobs. So that makes me very happy.
