    You can imagine how one might need rope if stranded or some other kind of emergency.  I have two cute bracelets that you can unravel/unbraid and you have a long piece of rope.  I keep them in the trunk.  Pretty cool, huh?

    Are you referring to the string bound around each other creating fabrics that drape over our bodies?
    If so, Yes.  It's the law in most countries.
    If I had my druthers, we wouldn't have to deal with such garb, climate allowing, of course.
